Subject: David Lee Young Retirement and Transition

After 34 years of dedicated service to his customers and H*E Engineered Equipment Company, David “Lee” Young has announced his retirement to be effective in late October 2020.

Lee is best known for his unwavering dedication and consistency in support of his customers, and friends, in the selection and proper commissioning/operation of the latest flow control and treatment products in water and wastewater systems ranging from the Texas Panhandle to Memphis, including all of Oklahoma and Arkansas. A true professional and gentlemen, Lee has led H*E Engineering Equipment Company for the last 18 years, reinforcing the company’s reputation as an institution in the region and as an award-winning sales leader with the manufacturers represented.

To carry-on this tradition as H*E expands to include the markets of the acquired Ulmer Equipment Company in St. Louis, Larry Hairelson has joined H*E as General Manager. As a mechanical engineer, Larry has a distinguished technical sales career with several original equipment manufacturers in the water and wastewater industries. For the next several months, Lee and Larry will be working together to provide a seamless transition maintaining focus on the outstanding service our customers and principals have come to expect from H*E Engineered Equipment Company.

Please help me voice our gratitude and best wishes to Lee Young in his retirement and welcome aboard Larry Hairelson in his future endeavors.

Thank you.
